GTA IV ain't gonna get the GOTY unless it's based on sales. Ive played Resistance, I like it, but no GOTY. The 3 major players I see for now are MGS4, Gears of War 2, the much hyped but can it deliver Killzone 2, & perhaps Fallout III maybe as a Dark Horse. I *love* NG2, but I don't see it widely accepted as a GOTY, no matter how brillant it is.
I cannot wait to play Gears 2, NG2, finish the Metal Gear storyline, & *finally* see Killzone 2 for myself...

The Ps3 has a great lineup this year, but what did they have in '07 ??? The 360 still has plenty of great games coming this year, I am pumped for NG2 + MGS4 + Too Human + Gears of War + Killzone 2 myself.
Because your tv is upscaling the resolution to suit it. It does not truly make it look any better, it allows the video signal to be output at 720p. Tv's do not natively display 640p resolution.
Good points. And I find it even more insulting (as a PS3 owner) that the game cant run without freakin streaming from the HDD... what's up Sony ???

I personally am not surprized after playing the game. This GTA is no 10/10 like all the reviews say... I like the game, it is a very good game, but not a truly great game in my eyes. Too much of a rehash with updated graphics just like alot of other "Next Gen" games. However, I still like the game alot, it's fun, but far from the incredible reviews ppl have been giving it = lol, especially the MP.

Thats b/c most of these reviewers dont even play the games. I read a Mass Effect review where the guy called it Mass Defect b/c he kept dying & couldnt figure out how to progress... the friggin' idiot didnt even know how to skill up his character, & eventually, got to a point he couldnt pass...
Alot of these ppl just hop on the bandwagon once other previews/reviews hit, especially big games like this one.
